We are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Secondary Supply Teachers to work acrossHertfordshire secondary schools, ensuring pupils' learning continues smoothly during staff absences. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as a Secondary Teacher:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons across KS3–KS4 (and KS5 if applicable).

  • Maintain a positive learning environment and manage classroom behaviour effectively.

  • Adapt quickly to different schools, subjects, and year groups.

  • Mark work and provide feedback where required.

  • Uphold school policies and contribute to the safeguarding of all students.

Ideal Secondary Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Experience teaching in a secondary school setting.

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills as a Secondary Teacher.

  • Flexibility and resilience when adapting to new environments.

  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
