**Personal Assistant to the Head of Orthopaedic Surgery**

- The Royal Melbourne Hospital is one of Australasia's business Trauma Services. Since February 1999 our Trauma Service has played a leading role in the Victorian State Trauma System as one of three Major Trauma Services, caring for the state's most time critical and seriously injured patients, integrating all the Royal Melbourne Hospital Trauma Specialists.
- The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery has 17 Orthopaedic Consultants, 3 Fellows, 2 Accredited Registrars, 7 Unaccredited Registrars and 7 Residents. This is one of the busiest Departments in the Hospital and a leading part of a Level 1 Trauma Centre.

**Your new role**:

- Provide confidential secretarial, clerical and administrative support to the Head of Orthopaedic Surgery
- Provide professional 'front of house' reception and administrative services for the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery to support the smooth running of the Department
- Assist with the coordination and running of meetings, including room and Webex bookings, invitations, minutes and agenda.

- Professional presentation, reception and customer service skills
- Demonstrated relevant administrative experience and ability to work in a confidential area
- Well-developed written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated organisational skills, initiative and attention to detail; ability to meet timelines
- Excellent information and technology skills including calendar management and virtual meetings
