We are looking for a motivated Housekeeping Services Coordinator, to work in our wonderful home in Kellyville.

The Housekeeping Services Coordinator is responsible for leading the Moran Home cleaning and laundry team to deliver a high-quality service and ensure the environment is presented to a high standard.

You must be genuine and passionate about working in aged care to be successful in the role, you will also will possess good management and leadership skills, have the ability to demonstrate teamwork, and work with team members to meet the accommodation services plan. We provide a supportive and enjoyable work environment with modern facilities and the equipment and resources needed to excel in your role.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the General Manager, and managing a team of direct reports your main responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

- Assisting with the planning and execution of housekeeping services to ensure the service environment is safe, clean, and welcoming, and supports resident daily living needs
- Work closely with team members who lead Administration, Admission and Maintenance to ensure service needs are met in a timely manner
- Organise and co-ordinate cleaning and laundry services employees to ensure sufficient and appropriately skilled employees are rostered
- Organise and maintain a daily scheduled cleaning program
- Organise and maintain a daily scheduled laundry and linen service program
- Monitor the timely completion of all daily and weekly schedules and identify any gaps
- Monitor the use of chemicals to ensure appropriate & safe use
- Carry out regular inspection of the Home to ensure our residents' environment meets the required standard for cleaning and presentation
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with residents and employees
- Manage WHS for your area to ensure the safety of you, residents, other employees and the general public

**Essential Skills and Requirements**

Previous experience in commercial housekeeping services

Proven organisational and management ability

Good communication skills

Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

Ability to prioritise work and work unsupervised

Empathy with the needs of the residents

**Desirable Skills and Experience**

Previous experience in a health care or community service setting

Knowledge of Infection Control practices

Knowledge of and experience with commercial cleaning products and appliances

Knowledge and experience in the use of industrial washing machines and dryers

Moran Aged Care requires all staff to possess a valid Police Check (or willingness to obtain one), Australian Working Rights, and current vaccinations for Influenza and Covid-19
