**About the Role**:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Assistant to support our diversified production team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of roasting, packaging, and dispatch processes. You will work closely with team members to meet production goals, while maintaining the high standards of quality that Royal Nut Company is known for.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in daily production tasks such as roasting, packaging, and preparing products for dispatch.
- Operate and monitor roasting and packaging machinery according to safety and quality standards.
- Ensure products are packed and stored efficiently, following strict adherence to deadlines and company guidelines.
- Support the Production Lead in the allocation of duties and ensuring team members meet operational targets.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following OH&S regulations.
- Assist in monitoring the quality of raw and finished products throughout the production process.
- Coordinate with the warehouse and dispatch teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Help identify and report any issues with machinery or production processes to the Production Lead.
- Actively contribute to a positive team environment by assisting fellow team members when needed.

**Required Experience**:

- Minimum 1-2 years experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Familiarity with food processing and packaging equipment is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks such as lifting and moving products.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Certificate in food processing or a related field.
- Experience in food manufacturing or processing industries.
- Personal Attributes:

- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong work ethic and a proactive, hands-on approach to tasks.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required.
- Commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all tasks.

**Working Conditions**:

- The role requires standing for extended periods and performing manual tasks.
- Shift-based work may be required, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends depending on production schedules.

Pay: From $48,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
