**Job description**

Slumbercorp pty. ltd. is WA's leading Bedding manufacturing company specializing in high quality mattresses and Headboards. Located at Welshpool we currently have an opportunity for an experienced upholsterer to join our team.

The upholstery team manufacture foundations, headboards, the role is within a manufacturing team and you will need to hit the ground running, so it is expected that you will have experience within the soft furnishing industry. Specific training will be provided.

**YOUR DUTIES WILL INCLUDE**:

- Preparing of frames (Foaming/Webbing)
- Assembly and upholstery of high quality commercial and domestic furniture
- Taking part in periodic quality checks on items being processed
- Measuring and cutting materials, sewing and covering furniture
- removing coverings, webbing and padding from old furniture
- securing material, padding, springs and webbing to articles to be upholstered
- Liaising with Design & Product Development and Planning teams

**Upholsterer Requirements**:

- Proven work experience as an upholsterer.
- Excellent design skills.
- Detail-oriented.
- Ability to draw and interpret design templates.
- Knowledge of upholstery tools including hot knives, nail guns, and sewing equipment.
- Ability to lift, pull, and manipulate heavy objects.

**Salary**: $74,000 + Super

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $74,000.00 per year
