That's us – we're the leading player in our market, and the core of our success is the calibre of people we have and how they are empowered to manage the relationships with our customers with support of the teams around them.Sometimes it's hard, and we can't always control everything, however, the reward from a thankful customer is truly worth it as they know you are an extension of their business and part of their success.The RoleThe purpose of the role is to leadthe entire sales function of the branch.Key ResponsibilitiesExecute State and National sales initiativesDevelopment of Sales Representatives, including induction and ongoing sales and product trainingManage and oversee Sales Rep call cycles and sales plannersDevelop new business opportunities and attend key accounts personallyManage the execution and measurement of margin growth strategiesAnalyse and interpret sales reports/results and take corrective action to achieve sales targetsReport on changes in competitor activities, product availability or related matters including customer credit issuesCo-ordinate sales promotions, training and market researchKey Competencies, Skills and QualificationsStrong Leadership skillsCompetent Organisational/time management SkillsSelf motivated with a positive attitudeAbility to manage people and processesA strong financial background with the ability and knowledge to understand and interpret financial processesA proven record in sales and the ability to maximise profit potentialExperience in the Food Industry preferredWhat PFD is Offering the Successful CandidateWe are offering competitive remuneration, superannuation and other staff benefits (such as discounts on staff purchases, discounted accommodation, health insurance and banking).
