Job Description

**Your opportunity to join our team** at Ingleburn**

The Quality Assurance Supervisor supports the QA Manager in leading and implementing quality assurance programs and ensuring compliance with food safety, animal welfare, and regulatory standards.

This is a day shift role based at our Ingleburn Further Processing site. It's a hands-on position working in a fast-paced environment where you will spend a large part of your time on the factory floor, along with the need to complete office-based clerical tasks.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Assist the QA Manager in leading the site's Product Pride Program.
- Review and file all production and quality-related paperwork daily
- Maintain critical QA documentation including:

- Foreign Matter Register (Internal & Supplier)
- Bucket Walk Register
- HACCP and CCP Logs
- Packaging Traceability and Ingredient Logs
- Hand Swab Register
- Conduct weekly GMP walks across Raw, High-Risk, and External areas
- Collate and review quality testing results and oversee corrective actions. Manage verification schedules in line with HACCP and QMR
- Investigate and respond to customer complaints and product non-conformances
- Coach and train Quality and Processing employees on animal welfare, food safety, and quality compliance per Ingham's procedures
- Assist in the planning and execution of new product and process trials
- Adhere to workplace safety rules; identify and escalate hazards and risks
- Collaborate with Operations to maintain compliance and support improvement programs
- Support internal and external audit programs, including preparation and corrective action follow-ups
- Identify, escalate, and verify issues relating to animal welfare, food safety, and quality compliance

**Key requirements**:

- Proven experience in a food manufacturing quality role
- Strong understanding of HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards
- Knowledge of BRC and CFSMR audit processes
- Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with operations and quality teams
- Strong organisational and documentation skills
