Job description:Significant Senior Leadership roleExecutive Remuneration PackageWadawurrung/Geelong based opportunity with hybrid workingAbout the opportunityWorkSafe Victoria is looking for a Director, Psychological Health to head the newly formed Psychological Health Division in Health and Safety.Reporting to the Chief Health and Safety Officer, the Director will lead and oversee WorkSafe's response to psychological health regulation, ensuring expectations on compliance and enforcement are met.
The role will be responsible for ensuring greater alignment between WorkSafe's resources in psychological health as well as providing strong leadership and oversight of WorkSafe's psychological health teams including Psychosocial Inspectorate, Psychological Health and Safety Specialists, and Programs teams to ensure clear alignment of work to WorkSafe's strategy.Key ResponsibilitiesLead WorkSafe's operational response to psychological health regulation and ensure expectations on compliance and enforcement are clear and well-managed, enabling a collaborative, unified and high quality response to psychosocial hazards.Drive an outstanding service delivery culture that is committed to WorkSafe's values and providing a prevention-led, data driven and client focussed service to our community.
This includes leading effective collaboration and communication across WorkSafe to achieve business priorities.Represent WorkSafe by providing strategic and specialist advice to promote continued high-level support, understanding and achievement of WorkSafe psychological health objectives by industry, government (both State and National) and professional bodies.Please ensure you review thePosition Description herefor additional information on accountabilities for this role.About youTo be successful in this role, you will have a proven track record of transformational, constructive and accountable leadership as well as be an excellent communicator, with interpersonal and consultative skills and the ability to influence a diverse group of stakeholders to achieve a desired outcome.
