**Job Description**:
Our global Buildings and Places business line brings together a versatile and collaborative term of urban planning, building design and engineering professionals working to create liveable, sustainable, and equitable cities.
Our extensive expertise cover urbanism and planning, architecture, building and systems engineering, and cost, project, and construction management.
Our diverse Melbourne-based Building Services Team are currently looking for an Team Lead - Building Services to operate across a diverse portfolio, assisting with the design and delivery of projects across; Healthcare, Education, Aviation, Civil Infrastructure, Defence, Commercial and Community/Leisure projects across the State.
**What will a day in this role look like**:
+ Manage a team of multidisciplinary building services engineers across several different market sectors to help them develop professionally by guiding, managing, mentoring members within your team.
+ Work with other Team Leads within the division to collaborate on projects including strategic project planning, resource planning and utilisation.
+ Using your experience in the Building Services Consultancy work - lead major projects and interact with clients on various projects.
+ Use your commercial acumen and business analysis skills to interpret and understand complex financial systems and reports across the wider operational business and on specific projects.
**Qualifications**:
What are we looking for from you?
+ Bachelor of Engineer (Mechanical, Electrical or other Building Services-related tertiary education) with experience leading and delivering electrical, mechanical or hydraulic design services.
+ Proven experience with user groups and partnering with a variety of building users to facilitate and deliver optimal design to a range of clients.
+ Demonstrated experience in leading a team in a people management role with exposure to strategic planning activities.
+ Work with engineers from various disciplines as the Project Lead using your technical expertise and outstanding communication skills.
+ CPEng / RPEQ (or working towards) and/or RBP Accredited (highly advantageous).
