**Join our team as a Technical Consultant at Endpoint Focus**
**Role: Technical Consultant**
**Location: Melbourne, VIC**
**Employment Type: Hybrid, permanent, full-time**
**Let us introduce ourselves**
Endpoint (noun): is an entry and exit point for data and communication in a network, such as a laptop, smartphone, server and OT device.
Focus (verb): refers to the ability to channel one's attention and effort to achieve clarity, understanding, and effectiveness in a chosen area.
Today's fast-paced world of innovation and evolving work models creates both challenges and opportunities for businesses. Organisations rely on a diverse mix of endpoints to carry out daily tasks, and often working remotely. However, as the complexity of these endpoints increase, managing and securing them becomes progressively more difficult. How do we ensure that these endpoints are secure, while minimising friction for staff to keep them happy, productive and engaged?
Endpoint Focus helps organisations navigate through these challenges by designing and implementing innovative solutions. We care about providing tailor made services that solve real business challenges.
**What we do**:
As a team who love solving problems, we:
**a) Analyse**: review customers' systems and processes, and recommend improvements or best-fit solutions
**b) Manage**: provide solutions to efficiently manage endpoints using Microsoft Intune, Configuration Manager and Automox
**d) Support**:provide ongoing specialist support for customers, such as our Vulnerability Management Service.
**About the role**:
As a Technical Consultant, you will design and deliver projects primarily using Microsoft technologies, as well as solutions provided by our trusted vendors as per our partners page on our website. You will be passionate about solving endpoint security and management problems for mid-sized to enterprise customers, many who are household names, as well as local and state government agencies. You'll be able to provide input into the solutions we develop as well as the technologies we use.
You'll be encouraged to develop skills with new technologies, while keeping your core skillset current. Our staff work closely together to think outside the box when developing solutions, and we are often seen as leaders in our space. You'll also get a great variety of work, as you'll be helping companies from different sectors and industries.
Here are some key elements of your role as a Technical Consultant:
- Work with our customers either independently, or as part of a team to deliver professional services projects and some managed services
- Provide post-project support, and assist customers with skills transfer once a project is implemented
- Help customers identify their needs for endpoint security and management, with a focus on the best purpose solutions and technologies
- Work with the wider EF team to help troubleshoot issues that arise during engagements
**About you**:
- You think creatively to solve problems
- You are customer obsessed and love helping people

- Bonus points: Experience in security platforms such as CrowdStrike Falcon, Delinea Secret Server / Privilege Manager, Cloudflare, AirLock Digital, Automox, Patch My PC

- Work/life enablement; so you can balance work + life's other responsibilities
