About the Business
South Burnett Care based in Kingaroy is the South Burnett's premier not-for-profit organisation with over 45 years' experience in delivering aged care, disability care, and community support services. About the role:
- Implementing programs to support clients to develop skills and attributes
- Facilitating outings and other social activities
- Working directly with clients
- Providing companionship and support during daily activities
- Providing physical assistance
- Working as part of a great team
- Training on the job
Eligibility:
**To be eligible for a traineeship, applicants must not have completed any qualification higher than a Certificate II.**
It is essential, the successful applicants commit to undertaking all the required study and assessments in order to effectively complete the traineeship and achieve the final qualification.
**Requirements**:
- Positive National Police Check
- Open Australian Driver's Licence (current)
- Current Vehicle Registration and Compulsory Third-Party Insurance
- Current Comprehensive Vehicle Insurance
- NDIS Worker Screening Card (Yellow)
- Positive Working with Children (Blue) Card
- COVID-19 Immunizations (minimum of two)
- Current Influenza Immunization (annual)
- Complete Pre-employment Health Declaration outlining any pre-existing conditions (as detailed in section 571 of the Workers Compensation and Rehabilitation Act 2003).
