**The Opportunity: Kitchen Hand**
- **Schedule**: Monday - Friday, 5 days per week is a must
- **Location**: Winston Glades
- **Hours: 8am - 3:30pm**.
- **Compensation**: Up to $28 per hour + super

**Your Responsibilities**:
The Kitchen Hand will prepare the meals for our centres for Morning Tea, Lunch and Afternoon Tea. There's no need for formal qualifications and all training will be provided but you should be enthusiastic about preparing fresh and wholesome meals for the children in our service. Nutrition is a vital part of children's development and healthy eating is part of the QCCS philosophy. We believe food ingredients should come from the kitchen, not from a lab.
The Kitchen Hand must be passionate about children's nutrition and have the same ethos and passion to embed and promote this in our centre.
Your role will include the preparation of fruits and vegetables for platters etc, heating and delivering meals, ensuring compliance with the centre Food Safety Plan and much more
**Our Centre**:Winston Glades Early Education Centre** is located in Flinders View, a suburb in Ipswich near Winston Glades Shopping Complex. Our centre has been rated as an **EXCELLENCE Centre** by the Australian Children's Education & Care Quality Authority (ACECQA). We offer a huge range of high quality programs for our children such as swimming lessons, music and movement and language opportunities. Sustainability is something we are passionate about and we love to explore these practices with the children in our care.
