QTC is looking for a dedicated Credit Risk Specialist to play a crucial role in assessing and managing the credit risk of our clients and counterparties. You will be responsible for conducting detailed credit reviews, performing market analyses, and providing informed recommendations to support our investment and lending decisions.

**What You'll Do**:
- Assist in the completion of periodic credit reviews on QTC's clients and investment and client counterparties.- Complete periodic market counterparty jurisdictional reviews relating to QTC's investments, informing stakeholders in Risk and Funding and Markets Divisions.- Conduct relevant analysis and provide borrowing recommendations on new client borrowing requests.- Monitor, report on, and analyze the markets and operating environment of QTC's counterparties and clients.- Make recommendations on QTC counterparty limits and provide analysis to support these recommendations.- Manage, enhance, and build financial models, databases, and spreadsheets as required.- Complete management reporting requirements on a weekly, monthly, semi-annual, and annual basis.- Support the Funding & Markets Division (FMD) and other QTC teams by undertaking detailed quantitative assessments and providing debt-related advice on ad-hoc project work and completing thematic credit papers.- Contribute to other functions of the broader Credit team, including conducting client credit reviews and providing recommendations on borrowing requests, special projects, and assisting the Advisory Division in advising clients on appropriate levels of debt and acceptable credit metrics.- Establish client lending covenants and regularly monitor and report on credit limits.

**Qualifications**:

- Essential:_- Degree in commerce, economics, business, finance, or other relevant discipline.
- Desirable:_- Studying for a Masters Qualification or CFA would be desirable.

**Experience**:

- Essential:_- Minimum two years to five years' experience in a credit, financial analysis, or project finance-related role.- Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of financial statements, financial ratios, risk assessment, and excellent financial modeling skills.
- Desirable:_- Experience within the banking and finance industry and understanding of financial markets.- Experience using Power BI, or a willingness to learn as part of the role.
