Logicalis is partnering with a prominent local council to facilitate a major technological shift from Office 2016 to the Microsoft 365 App. This transition represents a significant move towards a more integrated, cloud-based productivity suite. As our client enhances its use of Microsoft's online services, including a strategic enhancement of Microsoft Teams, the need for specialized training and robust support is more critical than ever.

The Microsoft Trainer is essential in crafting and delivering bespoke training initiatives that cater directly to the diverse needs of our client. This role will be responsible for developing comprehensive training materials, conducting both technical and user-focused training sessions, and ensuring effective hands-on demonstrations. These efforts are aimed at fostering a deep understanding and efficient use of Microsoft 365 (One Drive and Teams) across the council's operations.

**Contract Duration**: 15 days; Casual Contract

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design and execute tailored training programs that enhance staff proficiency and confidence in using Microsoft 365.
- Develop comprehensive training materials, FAQs, and handouts to minimize routine service desk queries.
- Deliver M365 management training to enhance the technical capabilities of the client's IT support team.
- Lead detailed sessions with the client's technical team to thoroughly explore the Microsoft 365 management console.
- Organize and conduct engaging 'Lunch and Learn' sessions, providing hands-on demonstrations and discussions on new features transitioning from Office 2016 to Microsoft 365.
- Share best practices and tips on maximizing productivity through the effective use of M365 tools.

**Requirements**:

- Extensive experience as a Microsoft Trainer, particularly with transitions to Microsoft 365 or similar cloud-based platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver training programs tailored to various learning styles and needs.
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills, capable of engaging a variety of audiences and simplifying complex technical information.
- Preferred: Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification or significant experience with Microsoft technologies.
- Experience working with public sector or local government entities is advantageous.
