**Your role**:
Due to significant investment and progress, we are seeking **Graduate Trade Compliance Analysts** to join our International Trade Compliance (ITC) team. You will work closely with the business and provide support and guidance to various teams and employees regarding all aspects of Australian, U.S., and International export and import laws and regulations to enable competiveness, ensure integrity and achieve regulatory compliance.
From day 1 you will be provided training and mentorship from both our Australian and US ITC teams on the nuances and best practices of trade controls. After you have gained your foundational knowledge, you will start partnering with business areas on trade control matters being closely mentored by a senior peer.
Over time your primary focus will be to manage the day-to-day export control operations and export licencing requirements, deliver export control induction and training to build awareness and keep up-to-date with knowledge of export controls, ITAR and EAR regulations.
The position is preferably based in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane.
**About you**:
You are a recent graduate in either law, international business (or similar) and have an interest in developing a career in trade controls. Being analytical, detailed oriented, organised and a quick learner are some of your key strengths. You have a flexible communication style being able to change your language to suit your audience.
A nice to have is familiarity of Australian and other international export and import regulations for the licencing of commodities, technical data and defence services.
Lastly, you are eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance.
