Are you looking to be part of highly performing technology driven team? We have an exciting opportunity with one of our Government clients to join as a GIS System Analyst. You will be a GIS system advocate and an advisor to any system changes by providing recommendations to key stakeholders to make any decisions. Work with the business and relevant business owner groups and key stakeholders to understand needs and concerns.

**Your main duties and responsibilities will include**:

- Advise of known risks and issues when changes are suggested to the system.
- Provide the business with advice around questions of system limitations and potential enhancement.
- Mentor, train and develop team members in related systems, processes and methodology.
- Provide system currency updates and appropriate recommendations which will allow relevant stakeholders and budget owners to make suitable decisions on upgrades.
- Provide guidance to the business around change management and IT processes.
- Assist with incident, problem and change management.
- Managing and negotiating with vendors.

**What are we looking for?**
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant field is desirable.
- Well-developed skills in mentoring and training team members on use of systems, processes, and methodology.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Skilled in stakeholder management.
- Working knowledge of project management methodology.
- Intermediate skills in business analysis.
