OverviewJoin to apply for the Council Operations Assistant Manager role at Careers at Council in Yarralin, Northern Territory.What you'll doAttend local authority meetings in the community.Assist the Council Operations Manager in the preparation of quotes, raising purchase orders, and monitoring budget expenditure.Maintain records and prepare reports.Listen to community concerns and raise them with the appropriate council staff.What you'll bringPrior experience in a role with a focus on executive-level administrative duties.Strong communication skills to engage with a range of stakeholders and community members; highly developed interpersonal skills to work with staff.Experience living and working in remote Indigenous communities is heavily preferred; cultural understanding of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander cultures is required.Computer literacy in programs such as Approval Max, Office 365, and Roubler; exposure to similar software is advantageous.Respectful team player with high attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.Open Driver's Licence; Criminal History Check; Working with Children card is required before commencement.Benefits & PerksSubsidised accommodation in the Yarralin community.Relocation assistance of up to $5,000.Remote area allowance.6 weeks of annual leave + 17.5% leave loading.Ongoing professional development opportunities.Application & RequirementsReady to Apply?
