Location: WoolgoolgaWoolgoolga & District Retirement Village (WDRV) is seeking a dedicated Maintenance / Grounds Person to join our team on a Permanent Part-Time basis (45 hours / fortnight).
About the RoleWe are currently seeking an experienced, motivated, and hardworkingMaintenance / Grounds Personto join our team.
This permanent part-time position is for45 hours per fortnight, worked acrossMonday, Thursday and Friday each week.This hands-on position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work and thrives in a team-focused environment.
Due to the physical nature of the role, applicants must have a good level of fitness.Duties include:General gardening and mowingBasic maintenance and repair workExternal cleaningInteracting respectfully with aged care residents and indiependent living clientsLiaising with contractors under the direction of the Maintenance SupervisorFollowing organisational policies, procedures and WHS guidelinesAttending mandatory training and education sessionsEssential Requirements:Wilingness to undergo a National Criminal Police CheckCOVID-19 VaccinationDriver's licenceComputer literacy and strong written / oral communication skillsAbility to follow WHS principles and proceduresPrevious experience in facilities, accommodation or aged care setting (preferred)Skills in painting, cleaning and general property maintenanceStrong customer service and interpersonal skillsWhy WDRV?
