The School Workforce Directorate supports an education system of more than 2,200 schools and nearly 100,000 employees across NSW. We are responsible for the recruitment of all permanent roles within NSW public schools and partner with key stakeholders to provide strategic workforce management advice and support. We lead the delivery of attraction, engagement, quality, and supply programs for pre-service and accredited teachers and support strategy, policy development and system improvement through a focus on people data, analytics and insights.

**About the position**:
The Early Career Academy Officer has a leading role in planning, designing, implementing and evaluating strategies and initiatives to achieve specific outcomes for early career teachers. Initiatives may be related to professional experience, induction, learning and mentoring.

The incumbent will have the opportunity to contribute to the expansion of existing programs and to be part of the team collaborating to deliver new strategies supporting teachers as they transition from study and grow into their teaching roles.

The Early Career Academy Officer works alongside experienced teachers and human resources professionals in People Group. The position also works directly with school-based colleagues and executive, providing coaching, advice and support across a range of initiatives under the Early Career Academy.
