The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced leader in the insurance or financial services space to step into a Team Leader role within the Select division.
You'll be supporting the Client Service Manager and Head of Select, managing operations, driving performance, and coaching a high-performing team.
In addition to people leadership, you'll maintain your own client portfolio, focusing on building strong relationships, retention, and ensuring client needs are fully met.
This role combines leadership, client service, and broking excellence - offering a platform to make a tangible impact in a multinational firm.
The Responsibilities
Lead, coach and develop team members, driving performance and growth.
Conduct performance reviews, manage development plans and ensure strong onboarding and training.
Manage a client portfolio, ensuring insurance and risk management needs are delivered to a high standard.
Drive client renewals, retention and satisfaction, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance.
Contribute to new business acquisition and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
Manage and resolve client issues, working collaboratively with the Claims team.
Support operational excellence including debtor management, compliance processes and reporting.
Actively lead strategic operational changes to deliver improved client outcomes.

About You
4+ years' experience in insurance or financial services, with proven leadership or team management experience.
Willingness to complete the Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification within your first six months (fully supported by the business).
Diploma of Financial Services or relevant tertiary qualification.
Strong knowledge of insurance broking practices, compliance and legislation.
Excellent client relationship management skills and ability to deliver high-quality service.
A confident leader with strong communication, coaching and mentoring skills.
Ability to drive team results while managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
