**About the role**:
Working within our Research and Innovation business unit the Economics, Data and Insights team is a supportive and highly productive group, delivering credible and valuable information to support better decision making in the Australian dairy industry. Our aim is to be recognised as Australia's premier and trusted source of dairy industry information and analysis.
As an **Industry Analyst** you will play a key role monitoring, analysing and reporting on domestic and global dairy industry developments, and contributing insights to key Dairy Australia publications such as our Situation and Outlook report.
Your ability to interpret data and provide insights will support your success in this role, as will your ability to build strong relationships across our organisation and more broadly with industry stakeholders.
Ideally you will be degree qualified in agribusiness, economics, or a related discipline. You may be a recent graduate or have relevant experience in a similar role. You understand that data integrity is crucial and can work with large datasets in excel, ensuring they are condensed into concise, accurate and valuable insights and can be communicated succinctly to a range of audiences in written and verbal formats.
Reporting to the Analysis and Insights Manager, you will enjoy collaborating, be supported to develop and extend your analytical skills, as well as helping build upon the team's position as a trusted source of dairy industry insights.
