Investment Banking Analyst to Associate, Industrials

This is a rare opportunity for an Analyst or Associate to join a highly reputable Industrials team of a Global Investment bank. Numbers Executive would like to hear from candidates with experience in a comparable top-tier investment banking or M&A advisory team interested in joining an established brand with strong client relationships and a healthy deal pipeline.
The opportunity
This is a key role supporting Vice Presidents and Directors with the origination and execution of Mergers & Acquisitions and capital raising mandates. This would include overseeing the Analyst pool and assisting them with the development of financial models, presentations, sector and company research, in addition to the project management of clients and 3rd party advisors such as accounting and legal firms.
Required skills & experience
Successful applicants will offer the following skills, experience and attributes:
- Previous transaction experience gained from an investment bank, independent corporate advisor or professional services firm
- High levels of commercial acumen
- Excellent working knowledge of the Australian marketplace
- Excellent qualitative and quantitative (financial modelling) skills
- Excellent academic history (transcripts required)
- Ability to exercise good judgement in a pressurised and time-sensitive environment
