We are currently searching for a Mandarin speaking Quality Control & Procurement expert to join the Sourcing, Procurement and QC team located in Acacia Ridge.

**About the role**

Quality Control & Procurement is a key role at KickAss as we test and approve battery systems and accessories, portable solar panels, portable 12V fridge/freezers etc. Your duties will include:
**Quality Control**
- Work with the Product Development team to ensure critical path is met for checking production before stock is expected in store or online
- Work with the Product Development team and 3rd Party inspection company to set up checklists and inspection standards.
- Process the QC Inspection independently for some products via video or images
- Work closely with logistics and suppliers to advise the inspection outcomes
- Work closely with the warranty team to analyse product issues
- Following up product issues and problems with the suppliers to provide solutions, updating the QC checklists to reflect the previous issues and inform the relevant departments
- Provide prompt response to the questions internally and externally
- Incoming QC tasks for Acacia Ridge warehouse
- Other adhoc duties as required by the relevant departments

**Procurement**
- Sourcing the new products or alternative products in a cost effective manner
- Support internal stakeholders with the order queries and other
- Monitor and follow up purchase orders to ensure a smooth process and advise the relevant parties if any problems arise
- Work closely with claims team to negotiate and follow up the warranty claims to the suppliers
- Negotiate the best price and MOQ with suppliers

**What you'll need to succeed**

If you have a passion for the 4WD or 'fourbie' world, a love for camping or ideally an interest in 12V electrical accessorieswe want to hear from you.

Essential Criteria
- Ability to speak and read/write fluent Mandarin
- Experience in quality control or procurement ideally within retail, agency or e-commerce.
- Attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin
- Results orientated with the ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines
- An interest in 12V products and outdoor gear.
- Ability to provide technical product knowledge
- Great communication skills.
- A positive attitude and a passion for our products.

Desirable Criteria
- Engineering qualifications or experience would be highly regarded
- A passion or strong interest in camping, 4WD and the outdoors
- Extensive knowledge of 12V and outdoor gear such as camping equipment
