**JOB DESCRIPTION**

ACE Buses is a family owned business providing essential school bus travel for Students with Disabilities.

We are seeking someone to fill a _brand new_ **Assistant Regional Supervisor** role to assist the current Regional Supervisor in their daily activities.

This is a part time role which starts at 20 hours and will likely increase to 30 hours for the right person.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

You will assist the Regional Supervisor in their daily activities which will vary on a daily basis and includes but is not limited to
- Bus Movements (driving bus to mechanic workshop, tyre shop etc)
- Filling in as bus driver or bus supervisor as required
- Conduct audits of bus odometers to ensure bus service schedules are maintained
- Conduct minor bus repairs (windscreen wipers, lightbulb changes etc)

**ABOUT YOU**
- You will have previous experience in a supervisor or team leader position
- You will be able to work autonomously as well as a part of a team (supporting the Regional Supervisor)
- You will have an outgoing energetic work ethic
- You will have initiative and problem solving abilities
- You must have an LR license and an Industry Authority (or willing to obtain one)
- You have a basic knowledge of heavy vehicles (we operate Coaster Buses and Hiace Commuters)

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Morning shift

Licence/Certification:

- LR Licence (preferred)
- QLD General Drivers Authority (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Work Location: On the road
