Leading Hand Position Available - Toowoomba

**Your new company**

This stable and highly regarded mid-tier construction company has been successfully delivering building and engineering projects for over 25 years. Due to an increase in Toowoomba projects, they require a Leading Hand to join their team.

**Your new role**

We are currently looking for experienced and reliable leading hands to work on low rise commercial projects across Toowoomba. You will work with the Site Manager across all aspects of the onsite commercial construction including:

- Coordination of subcontractors, labour and equipment resources
- Attend to building set out control
- Supervise activities of trade contractors
- Carry out "hands on" activities to assist productivity
- Take a leading role with general carpentry tasks
- Attend to nominal contract administration duties
- Advise on construction efficiencies and troubleshooting where possible
- Ensure Workplace Health & Safety standards are followed

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful in this role you will have:

- 3 + years' experience in commercial projects
- A strong technical knowledge of commercial construction
- Local industry knowledge and be highly regarded in the industry
- Excellent management, computer and communication skills
- Concept of job ownership
