**About the role**
With an institution-wide remit and reporting to the Associate Director Research Governance and Quality, the Biorisk Manager leads a key team within RIC that provides a range of internal stakeholders with specialist support to uphold the safe and compliant use of regulated biological materials in research. Working strategically and proactively, the role influences uplift and continuous improvement within the University, and leads cross-precinct activity to enable harmonisation of approaches. Significant leadership, project delivery and profile-raising are integral to the success of this position in order to continuously develop the maturity of biorisk management and assurance across the Institution.
