Working a **24/7** rotating roster, The **Mental Health Support Worker** is responsible for ensuring the day to day support and engagement of residents of **Chrysalis** by assisting residents with psychosocial supports, independent living skills and overseeing social and recreational activities in a recovery orientated and trauma informed way.

We are currently seeking to **two **casuals. We are flexible around applicants that are currently studying or working.

**What will I be doing?**

Ensuring the day to day support and engagement of residents of **Chrysalis - Forensic Mental Health Service** by assisting residents with psychosocial supports, independent living skills and overseeing social and recreational activities in a recovery orientated and trauma informed way.

**About You**
- You will have demonstrated experience in the following areas:_
- Professional experience in working with people who live with a mental illness, intellectual disability, or acquired brain injury.
- Understanding of Recovery-Orientated practice.
- Understanding of trauma informed service delivery
- Experience in medication management.
- Ability to work across a 24/7 roster, including weekend, public holidays

**Qualifications**
- Certificate 4 in Mental Health or equivalent tertiary qualification.
**OR**:

- Currently undertaking Bachelor of Social Work, Psychology or equivalent
- Maintenance of a full, unrestricted South Australian Driver's License
- Maintenance of First Aid and CPR certificate
- National Police Certificate
- DHS Vulnerable person related employment check or:

- DHS Aged Care employment check or
- DHS Disability employment check or
- DHS Working with Children Check
