Located in the bustling heart of the CBD, our client is an Australian-based hospitality group. They are actively seeking a part time experienced Accounts Assistant to oversee the daily operations of both accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Accurately process all invoices while ensuring compliance with established procedures.
- Manage the export of AP and AR batches, integrating them into SunSystems.
- Ensure timely disbursement of payments to suppliers.
- Maintain an orderly work area and equipment, taking responsibility for their upkeep.
- Preserve required records in line with statutory and organizational requirements.
- Manage accurate cash transactions and ensure timely banking of collections.
- Balance daily cash, cheque, and credit card transactions.
- Generate necessary reports to support informed decision-making.
- Handle inquiries related to supplier and debtor accounts.
- Undertake ad hoc duties as requested by your supervisor.
- Eager and open to learning, displaying robust problem-solving abilities.
- Highly desirable to possess demonstrated experience in a similar Accounts role.
- Possesses a confident demeanor and takes pleasure in engaging with key stakeholders.
- Exhibits excellent written and verbal communication capabilities.
- High attention to detail and excels in interpersonal interactions.
- Experience within the food and beverage sector is desirable.
