The First Nations Program Manager is instrumental in realizing the strategic vision outlined in the Wesfarmers Elevate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). This role is all about spearheading culturally inclusive strategies, fostering innovation, and championing best practices to drive reconciliation efforts towards an Australia that offers equal opportunities to all. Reporting to the Head of Community and collaborating closely with our D&I - Indigenous Employment team, you'll actively engage with internal and external stakeholders to oversee the successful implementation of our RAP Program.

**What you'll be doing**:
As a First Nations Programme Manager, you will:

- Co-lead the program of activities celebrating and recognizing the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, including National Reconciliation Week and National NAIDOC Week.
- Serve as a strong advocate and advisor for our First Nations program both externally and internally, ensuring the program's integrity and collaborating across Wesfarmers divisions.
- Foster an inclusive environment that promotes open communication and trust with Aboriginal stakeholders.
- Support ongoing management of customer, team member, and community complaints.
- Collaborate with our New Zealand team to develop the NZ First Nations program.
- Efficiently oversee project workload and facilitate seamless collaboration with the RAP Working Group to meet all deadlines and fulfill requirements. Key program areas encompass the First Nations Artist program, First Nations Supplier program, and First Nations Community program.
- Engage with various business functions to seamlessly integrate RAP activities with Kmart's overarching strategy and values.
- Play a key role in implementing the RAP secretariat framework and uphold best practices in program monitoring and evaluation.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive program reports in accordance with the requirements of Reconciliation Australia and Wesfarmers.

**To be successful in this role you'll have**:

- A comprehensive understanding of issues impacting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and communicate effectively in culturally appropriate ways.
- Direct experience in corporate or government settings listed on the ASX
- Proven track record of cultivating positive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Experience collaborating with Indigenous communities and suppliers would be advantageous
- Demonstrated success in delivering project outcomes.
- Familiarity with RAP and governance frameworks for First Nations strategies.
- Capable of working autonomously while engaging stakeholders and achieving objectives.
- Strong aptitude for planning, organization, and time management.
- Proficient in utilising technology, including the MS Office suite.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to coach for positive results.
