Overview
Program Test Manager role at UpperGround by Hudson.
Based in Melbourne with Hybrid / WFH – No Remote.
Large Government program.
12+12 month contract.
Approx.
$130-160/hour.
Must be an Australian citizen.
ASAP start.
Responsibilities
Manage test delivery with vendors and internal staff to ensure that across projects the delivery remains within scope, schedule, cost, and quality targets as defined with project teams.
Test SME understanding the tools and leading management and other stakeholders to use them.
Analyse and report on test activities and results, and escalating issues and risks to project management.
Develop test plans, test cases and supporting test data and/or requirements, under own direction from the specifications.
Assign execution test cases at various stages of testing.
Contribute to team improvement initiatives and projects, including team tools, process changes, and test automation.
Identify, manage and document defects, programming errors and operational characteristics that are inconsistent with stated requirements and design specifications.
Manage testing for multiple projects.
Accurately record time and effort for test cases.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective and timely implementation of projects.
Manage defect triages and meetings.
Coordinate with business teams and support them during UAT.
Qualifications & Experience
Experience leading testing activities on large, complex programs (federal government experience preferred).
Demonstrated experience with test strategy, planning, execution, and reporting.
Strong collaboration with business stakeholders and vendors.
Ability to manage multiple projects, risks, and dependencies.
Salesforce knowledge would be beneficial.

Casual Loading: For Australian-based contract and temporary roles, pay rate includes mandatory 25% casual loading.
This excludes permanent and fixed-term roles.
