With local manufacturing facilities in Melbourne's Laverton North, we work closely with architects, builders, and clients to create innovative and beautiful living environments.

**THE OPPORTUNITY**:
Due to an increase in production demand, we are seeking full-time permanent Production Operators to join our Framing team. These opportunities are based at our Laverton North factory/workshop, working day shift Monday to Friday.

As a Production Operator (Framing), you will be required to complete various aspects of the manufacturing process associated with building bathroom, kitchen, and laundry pods using prefabricated steel frames.

This role would ideally suit someone with related experience in the manufacturing industry and/or with the ability to confidently use hand and power tools e.g. trade or handyperson experience. As on the job training will be provided, however, previous experience in Framing is not required.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Stand up prefabricated steel frames.
Check wall frames are square, plumb, and to the correct dimensions as per the plans.
Operate an automatic, semi-automatic, or single purpose machines or equipment.
Use selected hand and power tools.
Basic data entry on an electronic system.
Perform quality assurance checks.
Ensure that sufficient task analysis is completed to carry out work safely.
Assist with other aspects of the production process in order to achieve daily KPIs.

**TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE**:

- Available to work day shift, Monday to Friday.
- Recent experience in a manufacturing, trade, or related environment, including working towards production targets.
- Experience using various hand and/or power tools, ideally within a professional setting.
- Able to undertake manual handling.
- Ability to read and interpret technical/fabrication drawings or specifications.
- Good communication skills and problem solving ability.
- Basic computer skills.
- Some weekend availability, on occasion.
