About the role
The BMS Technician will be responsible for managing and maintaining the BMS/Control Systems utilised within West Moreton Hospital and Health Service District. This will include undertaking works to maintain programming and hardware, monitoring the system, making recommendations for upgrade and supervising project work, at all times taking a strategic view of the system and its interactions with other building works and systems.
About you
- High level of technical competency in BMS and related control products/devices, including HVAC, access control, CCTV and security access systems, demonstrated by at least 5 years experience in the field.
- A solid understanding of air conditioning principles and systems and ability to provide a consistently high level of building maintenance across all facets of fixed plant and equipment
- Experience coordinating mechanical equipment installation, refurbishment or commissioning and working as part of a team to ensure integration of BMS in major construction projects.
- Ability to communicate well across all levels of an organisation, with a wide range of stakeholders, ensuring that the centrality of customers is always a priority.
- Problem solving and analytical fault-finding ability with at least one year of experience operating in this field.

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- Possession of a General Construction Induction Card (White Card).
- Queensland Restricted Electrical Work Licence (Instrumentation and Process Control) or the ability to and willingness to obtain same.
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
