**The Australian Institute of Music**, or **AIM**, is seeking a Head of Marketing and Recruitment to join our staff on a full-time basis, to lead the Institute's Marketing and Recruitment strategy, deliver innovative solutions to grow market share and drive a great team.
**You will be responsible for**:
- Leading the marketing strategy and student recruitment for the Institute, ensuring that all elements of the marketing mix including segmentation and campaigns, are part of long-range plans
- Driving targets for revenue, business growth and new opportunities
- Providing leadership to the Marketing and Student Recruitment teams
- Lead the annual student recruitment planning process to set targets for new enrolments and revenue, in line with long range plans
- Lead the execution of lead generation campaigns targeting enhanced conversion rates
- Building strong external relationships with industry, key third parties and other education providers
- Delivering innovative Marketing and Recruitment solutions, advising the CEO and Board of Directors on opportunities and risks
- Working to support continual improvement to address the needs of students and prospective students
- Ensuring we meet our regulatory obligations and compliance requirements
- Support in driving the overall business prerogatives of the Institution
- Ensuring that high levels of student satisfaction, reduced attrition, and enhanced graduation outcomes are achieved
- This role will be equally responsible for both of our Sydney and Melbourne locations, with interstate travel required to support both sites. You will also support off-campus activities as required._
**Experience and Attributes**:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field and/or industry certifications
- Extensive experience in Marketing and Recruitment management and/or leadership roles
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and accountabilities governing Australian Higher Education, including experience working in Higher Education
- Experience in the marketing mix including marketing planning, segmentation, campaign execution, events, online, direct marketing, social media, and public relations
- Evidence of working with or developing student recruitment strategies
- Proven experience developing, leading and managing high performing teams
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with a wide array of stakeholders
- A passion for music and sound knowledge of the higher education sector
