A rare opportunity is available for a proactive and diligent payroll specialist with high volume payroll processing experience to join the Payroll and Shared Services team within a large HR department.
Under the supervision of the Payroll and Shared Services Manager, you will be a key member of a high-performing team. Your responsibilities will include delivering a range of quality payroll services, including fortnightly payroll processing, issue resolution, responding to various employee pay queries, and ensuring that all salary and other allowance payments are made in accordance with the relevant Industrial Instrument. eg. Employment Agreements and Awards
**To be successful in this role, you will have**:

- Demonstrated experience in a similar high volume role processing payroll for 500+ employees - Essential
- Strong knowledge of contemporary payroll processing practices & standards
- Knowledge of relevant legislative requirements applicable to payroll processing & payments
- Demonstrated experience using ichris or Chris21 payroll system & Humanforce preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively & effectively in a team environment
- Experience working with multiple awards/award interpretation
- Excellent written & verbal communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
- Willingness to obtain a police check
