**The Opportunity**:
A permanent full-time position is available for a Barn Technician. Our Barn Technicians are responsible for various tasks such as push-up feed and clean facilities for our cows. The role involves operating modern and well-maintained small tractors, front end loaders and skid steers.

Our milking cows live in state of the art barns, providing them year round comfort and protection from heat, wind and rain. Our cows are free to socialize, eat and drink as they choose or rest in a bed of clean sand.

This opportunity provides secure, long-term employment in a safety-driven environment. This position is for a highly motivated, reliable person, who has an eye for detail and is committed to work health and safety. You will be encouraged and supported to complete National Competency Accreditation in loader and skid steer and other training as required.

**About AFMH**

AFMH operates multiple sites across eastern Australia. Dairy operations are located at Moxey Farms in Gooloogong, NSW, as well as Coomboona Farms in Coomboona, VIC. In addition, AFMH operates Ladysmith Farms a young stock operation near Wagga Wagga, NSW.

**Key accountabilities include**:

- Operating small John Deere tractors, Hyundai/ Volvo front end loaders and skid steers
- Working to scheduling guidelines
- Operating machinery safely
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- A motivated and positive work ethic with good time management skillsGood communication skills with a strong team spirit and a commitment to attendance and punctuality

**The successful applicant will possess**:

- The ability to follow protocols and adhere to safety standards
- Machinery experience
- Q Fever immunity, or must be willing to gain the Q Fever vaccination
- Covid VaccinatedDriver's licence and own transport
