MCM Auto Electrics is looking for a full time Trade Assistant/Workshop Allrounder to join our team located in Canning Vale.

MCM Auto Electrics specialises in electrical, air-conditioning repairs, and installations of electrical components and systems. Works with numerous industries including Mining, Construction, Marine Systems and Controls including HVAC systems.

**The role**:

- Interpret and organise customer parts order requirements
- Prepare parts and enter job data into the system
- Source and order parts
- Maintain stock inventory of parts
- Loading/unloading
- Receive and accept incoming parts deliveries
- Putting away parts and stock
- Store parts and stock in designated locations within the workshop
- Organise and label parts in the workshop
- Packing parts and coordinate freight as required
- Break down and dispose of unused cartons and manage workshop rubbish removal
- Perform pickups and deliveries as needed
- Operating tools and equipment
- Assist technicians
- Maintain a clean, safe and tidy workshop environment
- Carrying out additional task and reasonable duties as directed

**Requirements**:

- Must hold a current valid Class 'C' Driver's Licence
- Valid forklift ticket (preferred but not essential)
- Previous experience and knowledge in parts interpreting (preferred but not essential)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience in MYOB (preferred but not essential)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good operational and administration skills
- Capable of handling multiple tasks and tasks effectively
- Reliable and punctual
- Thrive in a fast-paced work environment

Note: No Visa Applicants.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
