**What you'll be doing**
- The Level 3 Dietitian works within the department providing a higher level of clinical expertise and knowledge to a specialised clinical area such as diabetes, mental health, palliative care, oncology etc.
- The Dietitian will work as part of the multidisciplinary team to manage the nutritional needs of their patients/clients/consumers.
- This position is able to demonstrate advanced reasoning skills and operate autonomously with minimum direct supervision.
- The Level 3 Dietitian is able to provide clinical services to client groups and circumstances of a complex nature requiring advanced practice skills.
- They are also responsible for the clinical supervision and support of Level 1, 2 health professionals, technical and support staff.
- The Level 3 Dietitian is involved with the planning, implementation, evaluation and reporting on clinical services across the ISLHD.

**Selection Criteria**:

- Eligible for full membership to the Dietitians Association of Australia.
- Extensive clinical experience including the specialty clinical area or related field.
- Well-developed time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Demonstrated experience in quality improvement and service evaluation processes.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated ability to provide senior level of supervision to staff and/or students.
- NSW (or equivalent) Class C driver's licence.
