**Bates Cosgrave** is based in the heart of North Sydney (close to North Sydney Train Station) and has a solid reputation for providing top shelf strategic guidance and consulting on all aspects of business, personal, international and investment tax and accounting.

We are looking for a friendly and dynamic Office All Rounder (part time with minimum of equivalent to four days a week or full time) to complement our friendly team and help us to manage the firm's administration and help the accountants to continue to deliver a holistic support and advice to our clients.

**About the opportunity**

This important role is both the initial client interface with our firm, and the main means of support to our admin team. It will also involve assisting our professional team to deliver their work to the clients. It will present a great opportunity to get a feel for working (or returning) to an office environment.

**Roles and responsibilities**

The role will involve a wide variety of activities, but the main responsibilities will be:

- General office administration including answering the phone and directing calls, maintaining the firm's database, documenting procedures, electronic filing, fee preparation and preparing marketing material.
- Collation preparation (delivery of our final products to our clients) and other important communication with our clients.
- Data entry for various purposes.
- Kitchen duties.
- Help with outsourcing work.
- Help with maintaining the firm's professional look, including making sure that the boardroom is tidy and clean.
- You will be expected to be in attendance at our office during your working hours unless there are government-imposed Covid restrictions from doing so.
- Other admin duties as necessary

- Microsoft Office 365 (especially Microsoft Word and Excel)
