We are currently looking to hire a Billing Clerk to join our accounting team on a permanent basis

- Employment opportunity:

- We are seeking an experienced Billing Clerk to join our finance team in Sydney on a permanent basis. The role will involve taking responsibility for, and ensuring the efficient and effective coordination of the billing function.
- Key responsibilities:
- Manage account balances to discover outstanding debts or other inconsistencies
- Inspecting and checking billing batches to ensure accuracy
- Identifying and rectifying errors in billing batches
- Ensuring effective and accurate administration and storage of billing information
- Producing sales invoices from billing batches
- Manually consolidating/splitting invoices
- Dealing with urgent invoices with billing managers
- Liaising with key stakeholders in relation to billing queries, errors and issues
- Reversing invalid sales invoices and cancelling transactions
- Dealing with internal employee expenses

Qualification, Skills and Experience:
- Experience in a similar position
- Advanced Excel experience
- Strong analytical skills
- Demonstrated customer service skills
- The ability to work well under pressure
- Good interpersonal and numeracy skills
- Previous experience working in a consultancy would be an advantage but not essential
