Reporting to the GM Commercial Finance this role will provide finance support to the Subscriptions team for News Corp Australia (NCA). As the Head of Finance you will partner with the business Directors in identifying Revenue opportunities and risks, modelling and developing new product initiatives and defining the digital revenue strategic direction to drive long term profitability.

**What's the role?**
- Provides commercial insight into subscription revenue and is responsible for driving product profitability across core mastheads and new products.
- Business Partnering Executive and senior management stakeholders to deliver on LRP outcomes and drive commercial understanding in the business.
- Undertake proactive analysis of emerging trends considering the macro environment, industry and competitor activity through to subscriber behaviour trends to produce data driven analysis, reporting, insights and models.
- Own all investment appraisal modelling and development of capital expenditure business cases; covering marketing investment (CPA and Brand campaigns), technology capability development and new product revenue streams.
- Finance lead on key consumer initiatives aligned with our strategic direction to drive long term profitability and secure investment for growth.
- Provide commercial thought leadership that can be leveraged across the marketing, pricing and data analytics teams.
- Manage a team of 3, 2 direct reports and play a leadership role within the wider finance function driving engagement and development.

**Who are you?**
- Qualified Financial Professional with 7+ years experience.
- High impact self-starting individual, resourceful and solution-driven.
- Stakeholder engagement and sound presentation skill.
- Strong commercial acumen.
- The ability to interpret and convert complex data requests into prescriptive and actionable insights for a non-financial audience.
- Proactivity delivering data driven financial insights and recommendations.
- Experience in managing and influencing multiple stakeholders.
