We are currently seeking a Part-Time Food Services Assistant to join our friendly team at Maleny Erowal Aged Care Home in Maleny, Queensland.

Respect has grown to include aged care homes, retirement villages, and home care services across Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, and Tasmania.
About the Role:Working under the direction of the Chef or Cook, the Food Services Assistant plays an important role in ensuring residents enjoy nutritious, tasty, and well-presented meals every day.
You will support the delivery of our Food Safety Program while helping to create a friendly, welcoming dining experience for residents.
Key Duties: Assist with menu planning to meet residents' needs and preferences.
Prepare, serve, present, and deliver food and refreshments in line with the Food Safety Program.
Carry out general cleaning duties to maintain high standards of hygiene.
Monitor and record food safety requirements such as temperatures and receipting goods.
Ensure meals and refreshments are delivered in a friendly and timely manner.
Report any concerns related to food or beverages to the Registered Nurse in Charge.
Essential Requirements: Completion of a Food Handling Course.
Current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire).
Previous experience in residential aged care food services.
