Our client is an integral leader within the Australian Healthcare system - a national wholesaler for products and services with 11 warehouses dotted around the country. One of those high-tech automated warehouses requires a Technical Officer based at their Dandenong site.

**The Role**

Reporting to the National Maintenance Manager, you will take initiative with decisions to ensure uninterrupted productivity, in a predominantly hands-on operational position, critical to the running of all maintenance activities to the site. Supervising 2 technicians, you will be the point-of-contact to;
- Manage contractors and sub-contractors
- Coordinate scheduled and preventative maintenance plans for the team via CMMS
- Process Improvement and innovation
- Maintenance automated equipment and systems, such as; mini-load cranes, carousels, stackers, de-stackers, strappers, robotics, conveyor belts and more
- Maintain highest levels of uptime and minimise breakdowns of automated assets
- Manage all breakdowns, documentation and general maintenance
- Cost control for purchases and contractors
- OH&S accountability and responsibility
- On-call hours are rare, but will be required

**Your Skills, Experience and Qualifications**
- Electrical A-Grade license preferred, reconnect/disconnect acceptable
- Effective organisation skills
- Automated Material Handling systems within warehousing or manufacturing
- Computerised Maintenance Management Software
- Automated Warehouse Machinery, such as; Robotics, Conveyors, Lifts, Cranes, Palletisers, Buffers, etc
- Ability to work under pressure and follow procedures
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and manuals
- Fault finding/diagnosis/root cause analysis
- Advanced customer focus
- Rapport building and leadership ability
- Aptitude for IT, Electrical, Mechanical, Pneumatics
