About the Role


The purpose of the position of Technical Officer (Digital Health and Anatomy) is to provide a high level of technical support within the School of Health Sciences laboratories (including the Digital Anatomy Lab) to students both Undergraduate and Postgraduate as well as Academic and Research staff. The Technical Officer (Digital Health and Anatomy) will be required to utilize a large scope of skills including providing expert advice, setup, maintenance, calibration and procurement of specialized digital health technology and propriety software supporting clinical equipment and systems such as SECTRA, Anatomage, Virtual Reality, Electronic Medical Records, health simulation software, telehealth and recording software.

About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

  • Significant knowledge and demonstrated experience in the procurement, operation and maintenance of a wide range of health-related equipment.
  • Familiarity with the use of digital health programs and propriety software supporting clinical equipment and systems such as SECTRA, Anatomage, Virtual Reality, Electronic Medical Records, health simulation software, telehealth and recording software OR significant demonstrated experience learning and using new specialized software.
  • High degree of computer literacy including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, macOS, Abode Creative Cloud, Virtual Reality, 3D Modelling and Coding skills.
  • Good understanding of occupational health and safety and other statutory and reporting requirements relevant to clinical and teaching environments.
  • High-level organisational skills, including the ability to be flexible, prioritise activities and meet deadlines.
  • Experience collaborating with various stakeholders (e.g. technical staff and University personnel) to resolve queries and problems accurately, promptly and with a "can do" approach.

Qualifications
A relevant degree in Health Sciences (including anatomy, physiology and/or medical imaging skills), or significant equivalent industry experience.
