Our client, located in Edinburgh SA is looking for a full-time Boilermaker-Welders / Metal Fabricators / Pressure Welders / Welders (First class).
About the Role:A large engineering company is looking to employ a Boilermaker-Welders / Metal Fabricators / / Pressure Welders / Welders (First class) to manufacture, repair and fabricate various structural Steel products and pressure vessels and pipes.

About you:We are seeking an experiencedBoilermaker-Welders / Metal Fabricators / / Pressure Welders / Welders (First class) with a strong work ethic who take pride in their work and can work alongside an established team.To be successful in this role you would need to possess the following:Qualified as a Boilermaker-Welder / Metal Fabricators / / Pressure Welders / Welder (First class) through an apprenticeship or equivalent.AQF Certificate III including at least two years of experience orAt least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualificationsStudy blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine job requirementsSelect, clean, and prepare metal stockCut marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools, flame cutting torches and metal cutting machinesShape and bend metal sections and pipes using hand and machine tools, and by heating and hammeringAlign parts to be joined using hand tools and measuring instrumentsClean and smooth welds by filing, chiselling, and grindingAssembles, welds and repairs pressure vessels and pipesAble to work efficiently on your own or within a team environmentIf you meet the above criteria and you're interested in contributing to an organisation that values the highest level of quality in everything it sets out to achieve, we want to hear from you
