**YOUR ROLE**

The National Operations Manager is responsible for the efficient operation of all warehouses, logistics, inventory, service administration and general administrative staff, for FRSA and FRSNZ.

The primary focus of this role is ensuring all staff are working effectively in delivering their individual roles across the company to reach company targets.

A strong emphasis is required in delivering:

- Warehouse efficiency, controls, following process
- Logistics including local and international freight
- Inventory management and stock control
- Service and general administration deliverables are being met
- Procurement of all goods done accurately and efficiently
- Data Management integrity and maintenance

Developing business strategies to streamline operational activities effectively and efficiently implementing approved business strategies and assisting operations team members in the implementation of these strategies.

This role provides the Leadership Team direction on all operational activities, collaborates and sustains team skills and knowledge on Suppliers and Freight/courier actions to effectively improve customer service and cost savings for the business.

The role is pivotal to ensure the quality and consistency of day to day operations, allowing FRSA and FRSNZ to strive to continue to be a quality and reputable single source solution for customers, so that long term growth opportunities are maximized and sustained.

**ABOUT YOU**

You will thrive in this role if you present all or most of the below aspects:

- 7 years' experience in warehouse and logistics leadership within a high-volume environment
- Advanced understand of warehouse management systems incl. advanced warehouse modules, inventory control systems and integration
- Experience in national inventory management and systems, importing and container management
- Exceptional customer service skills, with a customer centric mindset
- Well-developed computer skills in Microsoft Office package
- Results driven with the ability to stay focused and achieve goals in a timely manner
- Professional, comfortable, and competent corporate negotiator with the ability to influence without authority
- Experience ability to negotiate and contract with national and local carriers
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver results in a fast-paced environment

Additionally, you will be an independent self-starter who appreciates working in a team environment; you'll possess excellent organisational and time management skills and be a confident and effective communicator.
