**The Opportunity**

The Mark Moran Group - NSW's most highly awarded aged care provider, is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join its team in Vaucluse in a full time capacity as a Leisure and Lifestyle Assistant.

Your role will be to assess our residents and facilitate practices to maintain the resident's social, recreational, cultural and spiritual wellbeing through individual and group social and recreational activities. This includes ensuring quality of care and activities provided are in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and the Mark Moran Group Model of Care.

About you

We want you to be yourself, bring your passion and energy to the workplace and enjoy every day. To work for us, you need to demonstrate:

- A Diploma or Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle qualification preferred.
- Experience in completing care plans, entering progress notes and attendance records.
- Residential aged care and/or experience working with clients with dementia is preferred.
- Previous experience facilitating Lifestyle and Recreation is advantageous.

**Salary**: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

COVID-19 considerations:
At Mark Moran, we take the health of all of our stakeholders seriously. This includes daily RAT tests for staff, stringent use of PPEs and social distancing.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Vaucluse, NSW 2030: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Leisure and Lifestyle: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- A Diploma in Leisure and Lifestyle (Cert IV) (preferred)
