OverviewWe are seeking caring, enthusiastic and creative Leisure & Lifestyle Assistants to complement our inter-disciplinary team in providing excellent individual and small group therapy that enhances our Consumers' quality of life at our Hunters Hill Campus.As a Leisure & Lifestyle Assistant you will adopt a holistic approach to develop, implement, and evaluate 'best practice' programs designed specifically for our Consumers.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and evaluate leisure and lifestyle programs for individuals and groups.Adopt a holistic approach to enhance residents' quality of life through engaging activities.Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support consumer wellbeing.QualificationsEssential CriteriaCertificate IV in Leisure and HealthCreativity with ability and knowledge of and understanding of effective engagement for groups and individualsResidential aged care experienceDemonstrated knowledge and skills in documentationDemonstrated ability to plan, implement and evaluate programs for groups and individual therapyExcellent organisation and time management skillsDesirable CriteriaPrevious experience in the delivery and effective implementation of leisure programsCreative and cognitive based skills to run effective and stimulating groupsLife skills will be highly regardedAbout UsMontefiore is an award-winning, Sydney-based aged care provider, with a proud 135-year history as a non-profit organisation founded on Jewish values.
