**Description**:
POSITION DESCRIPTION

The purpose of this position is to oversee and lead programs in accordance to the National Quality Framework (NQF) across all centres and services.

The Pedagogy and Practice Manager will undertake the development and implementation of the Educational Program and Practice across St Nicholas Early Education and OOSH services. The Pedagogy and Practice Manager will work collaboratively with the Senior Pedagogical Coordinator, Area Service Managers, centre Directors, Nominated Supervisors, and Educational Leaders to ensure there is a demonstrated commitment to Quality educational programs and a commitment to Quality Improvement across all St Nicholas services.

This position also plays an important role in providing best practice and quality strategies and a commitment to professional development. The Pedagogy and Practice Manager will ensure that St Nicholas Services comply with the Educational and Care services national law and regulations, the National Quality Framework and other relevant legislation.

This position will be offered on a permanent full-time basis.

**Skills and Experiences**:
EXPERIENCE/CRITERIA
- Proven best practise ability in all areas of administrative procedure and curriculum development
- Demonstrated ability to successfully support the Early Years Learning Framework and My Time Our Place Framework with the centre/service curriculum
- Prior experience and demonstrated understanding of auditing OOSH or early education services to ensure they are meeting programming quality areas to a high standard
- Proven ability to manage a large team in high quality service provision
- Ability to manage complex situations including matters of escalation
- Proven ability in supporting educators to demonstrate best practice in education and care
- Prior experience and demonstrated understanding of auditing Early Education centres and OOSH services to ensure they are meeting all quality areas to a high standard

QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Early Childhood Teaching as identified by Australian Children's Education and care Authority
- Approved child protection training certificate
- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- NESA Accredited Proficient Teacher status
- Current Class C Driver's Licence
- National Criminal History Check
