We are seeking a Casual Film Scanner Operator to join our team. This role involves operating a Noritsu HS-1800 film scanner, a professional and high-resolution device designed for the digitalisation of large quantities of film.

**Who This Role Would Suit**

This role would be ideal for a high school graduate looking for seasonal work or a 1st-year university student.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Operating a film scanner workstation, scanning various formats of film like 35mm to 120 medium format films
- Judging each image and correcting for any issues ie dark, light, too blue, too red etc.
- Cutting, sleeving, and packaging film orders
- Working autonomously

**Work Hours**

Hours are typically 6-8 hour shifts ranging from Monday to Saturday. We are expecting this role to take up 2-3 days per week.

- The ability to work well in a fast-paced group setting
- Good time management and the ability to meet deadlines
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to process and resolve issues quickly
- High technical and technology interests
- Clean and tidy priorities due to the nature of handling film
- Good and coherent image literacy, i.e., understand if there is a problem with a picture, i.e., too blue, too red, etc.
- Interest in analog materials and photography
- Some experience in an assembly or process role
