OverviewHead Housekeeper - Sleaford Hall – SleafordWe are looking for a strong individual to work with a supportive team of housekeepers and to keep the home at high levels of cleanliness it deserves.As a Head Housekeeper you will be responsible for management of overall cleanliness and hygiene of Sleaford Hall and to supervise, train and support the team of housekeepers and laundry staff.ResponsibilitiesMaintain & prioritise the workload of, and allocate tasks to, domestic and laundry staffEnsure all areas of the home are clean and tidyCreate and maintain cleaning regimes (daily, weekly, periodically etc.) for all areas of the care homeDusting, vacuuming and washing down of all areasPolishing of mirrors and furniture (as applicable)Dusting of all ledges, pictures, high areas and skirting boardsDry Cleaning & Shampooing of carpetsCleaning of curtains and furnitureEmptying/cleaning of waste binsRestocking of toiletries, soaps, towels etcUnderstand and ensure the implementation of the care homes Health & Safety policy, Emergency and Fire procedures and COSHHEnsure all equipment is maintained in a safe, clean and efficient working conditionPrepare housekeeping rotas reflecting the appropriate cleaning times of the care homeSupervise and instruct junior and new staff members in all aspects of their work in the care home, giving help and guidance where appropriateBenefitsFree tunic when you beginMeals included on shiftInduction and initial training for the role you beginOngoing refresher training and staff development and unique training tailored to your career routeTime and a half on all bank holidaysRefer a friend schemeAdditional informationThis is an integral and important position within the home and one which offers lots of responsibilities and the chance to work in a fun and fast environment.If you would have previous domestic experience and supervisory skills and you are looking for the next step then please do apply
